Leonberger Club GB Fun Day 2017
The Leonberger Club GB (or LCGB) Fun Day took place on Sunday 16th July 2017 at Bagnall Village Hall in Staffordshire, hosted by Penny Pitstop Dabell and Julie Jones.
I was there to help my friend Bev run the LCGB shop stall... but of course I took my camera!
When things were a little quiet on the stall, I snuck into the field and took some candid shots of some of the lovely leos!
I had already fallen in love with this magnificent breed having done a photo shoot for Bev's beautiful Roxy last Autumn.
Roxy (left), who recently celebrated her milestone 10th birthday, totally rocked the session with her beautiful temperament, gentle eyes and magnificent coat, which matched the amazing autumnal colours around us.
At the Fun Day, one of the highlights was playing with the puppies Harpo and Hannah - I'm such a sucker for a puppy, and leo pups are such (big!) fluff balls :-)
Bev and I even got to puppy sit Harpo for some of the afternoon. What can I say, it was a tough job but someone had to do it ;-)
And of course Bev dragged, I mean "encouraged" him round the show ring, and helped him win Best Puppy.
Sadly we had to give him back - he was too big to sneak into my camera bag!!

I hope you spot your lovely leo in the gallery and that the image makes you smile :-)
If you would like a low resolution digital image of any of the photos (without the watermark) to put on your computer, or to share on social media, then these may be purchased for £10, with £5 going towards LCGB funds. Funds are being raised for the Working and Health Funds, towards equipment for the working groups, and for research projects.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and I will advise how to make payment (by paypal/bank transfer), and then email you the file.
The low resolution files are not licensed, or of sufficient quality, to be printed. If you are interested in purchasing a professionally printed image then please contact me with your requirements (e.g. size) and I will provide a quote, which will include a donation to LCGB.
If you have been contemplating having professional photographs done of your dog, then please take a look at my website and email me your contact details if you are interested and want to know more.
