You wouldn't get a wildlife photographer to capture your wedding, so why would you entrust your beloved pet with someone who doesn't understand dogs?  I'm an experienced dog owner, a scent work enthusiast, supporter of local animal charities, understand a bit about canine behaviour, have attended a dog first aid course, and am focused on the welfare of your dog from start to finish.

My style is about honesty and capturing your pet at THEIR best, how you want to remember them, whether they are running through the forest or sitting on a chair in the studio.  We work within your dog's capabilities - we don't make them do things that don't want to do, or can't do, just to get a photo.  I don't do powder shoots or anything I think might put your dog at risk.  Your dog doesn't need gimmicks to be the star of the show!

From start to finish I aim to create an experience tailored to the needs of you and your pet.  It's why I put such an emphasis on planning, listening to any special needs, whether they are health related, practical, social or behavioural.  It also helps us to focus on the end goal, whatever that might be for you.  

My artistic style is full of warm contrasting colour, showcasing dogs against the beauty of nature and the seasons, from the fresh green shoots of spring, through the colourful riot of summer wild flowers, the golden glow of autumn, and the earthy tones of winter.  My editing focuses on authentic natural colour and is not over processed.

How you display your artwork is as important as the pictures themselves.  I invest time in sourcing fabulous products from leading print labs that only supply professional photographers. From fine art prints, contemporary wall art, to memory books, I also specialise in large wall art and designing albums.  I love beautiful textures, rich colours and matte surfaces that minimise reflections.

I'm a sole trader and my business was established in 2016, it's not a hobby or a side hustle.  I've invested heavily in personal development, participating in workshops run by internationally recognised dog photographers.  I care about being professional, am properly insured, supported by appropriate systems, and diligent about keeping your pictures (and data) safe.
